For over 35 years, I've been on a journey of teaching, learning, and healing. My path has led me from caring for family members living with disAbilities and neurodivergence to becoming an educational healer with a doctorate in Educational Psychology. Along the way, I've discovered the transformative power of BrainSpotting, a technique that has revolutionized my approach to healing the brain and body.

My quest began with a deep-rooted passion for education. I've worn many hats - special educator, educational consultant, cognitive trainer, teacher of teachers, and administrator. I've worked at every level, from individual schools to state-wide programs, always driven by a desire to unlock the potential in every learner, leader, and educator.

But my journey took an unexpected turn when I fell head over heels for the art and science of healing the brain and body. It was like looking up at the night sky as a child and finally understanding the vastness of the universe. I delved into collaborative communication, cognitive education, and finally, BrainSpotting. Each of these practices opened new doors of understanding, but BrainSpotting... BrainSpotting was different.

You see, I'm not just another therapist. I'm an educational healer who uses the power of BrainSpotting to heal the hurts inflicted by our educational systems. This isn't your typical talk therapy or even active listening. It's a revolutionary approach that allows for deep understanding and builds clear connections, ultimately leading to freedom in your life and educational pursuits.

My experience with neurodivergent family members, coupled with my time teaching in different lands and languages, has given me a unique perspective. I've learned how to think, how to teach thinking, and how to communicate in all manner of the word "communicate." This background informs my holistic approach to healing and wellness.

In my free time, you might find me hiking, creating, reflecting, or curled up with a good book. I'm always eager to learn something new, whether it's a fresh cuisine in the kitchen or a fascinating subject that's caught my attention.
